I was recently involved with a fantastic apple planting event at Norton Priory. It was a great time for local groups (mainly gardening but also community centres,) as well as Runcorn Police.
It's a great project to help plant 60 apple tree on a wild flower meadow near the museum's walled garden. Made up mainly of Cheshire and Lancashire varieties to help bring back some historic apples.
We had a few dogs come and inspect out work and particularly pleased with the use of police tape to mark out the tree spacing.
